A two days trip with Oyster tasting and farm visit

OYSTER TASTING IN OUALIDIA IN MOROCCO

The pearl town of Oualidia is blessed with a beautiful laguna. Here the sea water is perfect for Oyster framing. Our tour starts with a visit to the factory where the oysters are processed, cleaned and treated before comsumption. After with a traditional boat we sail to the oyster farm located few kilometers away in the laguna.

The experience is topped with a fresh oyster tasting accompanied with a glass of champagne.

Lunch is based on Oyster and Sea food from the area.

CHEESE TASTING IN THE OUTSKIRTS OF ESSAOUIRA

The region of Essaouira is known for goat and sheep herding. Our activity takes place in a funny location which reminds of a Spanish Finca surrounded with Argan trees. The goats here are famous for climbing magically these trees searching for its nourishing fruits.

The Argan fruits are rich in vitamines and omegas and that is the secret of the goat milk quality of the area. The local cheese expert will introduce you the whole process from A to Z. The first step will be in a friendly athmosphere where fresh milk will be warmed accordingly to the type of cheese we make. Then acidifying the milk with other following steps. The finally after being salted you take the cheese to the underground cold cellers to age the cheese.

After you deserve a nice cheese tasting with a cup of local white wine. Lunch is provided and various of choices are available. Enjoy!

Flow of the Trip:

2 Days Trip: Wine & Cheese Tasting

Day1: Marrakech-Cheese tasting & Lunch at La Fromagerie ( 2h45 ) – Continue to Oualidia- Sunset over the Atlantic Ocean- Sleep in La Sultana or Similar.

Day2: Relax morning by the laguna, traditional Boat Trip and Oyster Farm visit- Lunch and drive to Marrakech ( Start around 11 am. Finish in Marrakech around 7 pm )
